Please read these Terms carefully before using Edge Trader Terminal. By using our platform you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
Edge Trader Terminal is a financial information and educational platform only. We do NOT provide investment advice, financial advice, or any regulated financial service. No content constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. Always do your own research and consult a licensed financial professional before making any investment decision.

Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms of Service, the following definitions apply:
- —"Platform" — the Edge Trader Terminal website and web application.
- —"Services" — all features, tools, data displays, screeners, watchlists, portfolios, trade journals, educational content, macro data, and functionalities provided through the Platform.
- —"Operator / We / Us / Our" — CinvestK s.r.o., Viedenská 2646/23, 040 13 Košice – Sídlisko Ťahanovce, Slovak Republic, Company ID (IČO): 54 145 457, Tax ID (DIČ): 2121582375, not registered for VAT, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court Košice, section: Sro; contact e-mail: edgetraderterminal@proton.me.
- —"User / You / Your" — any individual who accesses, browses, registers, or uses the Platform in any manner.
- —"Content" — all text, data, charts, tables, indicators, models, articles, and any other material made available through the Platform.
- —"User Content" — any content submitted or shared by Users, including trade setups, journal entries, portfolio data, and comments.
- —"Financial Instrument" — stocks, bonds, ETFs, indices, cryptocurrencies, derivatives, commodities, currencies, and any other tradable asset referenced on the Platform.
- —"Free Plan" — the no-cost tier of access with limited features.
- —"Premium Plan" — the paid subscription tier providing access to advanced features.
- —"Third-Party Data Providers" — external data suppliers including Financial Modeling Prep (FMP), CoinGecko, FRED, TradingView, and others.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using the Platform in any manner, you confirm that:
- ✓You have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety.
- ✓You have read and accept our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
- ✓You are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- ✓You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a binding agreement.
- ✓You are accessing the Platform for personal, informational or educational purposes only.
If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease using the Platform and close your account. Your continued use following any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
No Investment Advice — Educational & Informational Purpose Only
3.1 Nature of the Platform
Edge Trader Terminal is a financial data aggregation, research, and educational platform. All Content — including stock screeners, cryptocurrency data, macroeconomic indicators, earnings calendars, analyst ratings, fair value models, technical indicators, trade setups, and blog articles — is provided solely for general informational and educational purposes.
(a) investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice;(b) a solicitation, recommendation, or offer to buy or sell any financial instrument;(c) a personalized investment recommendation tailored to your individual financial situation;(d) a service regulated under Directive 2014/65/EU (MiFID II), Act No. 566/2001 Coll. on Securities and Investment Services, or any equivalent financial regulation;(e) portfolio management or discretionary asset management;(f) tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, or any other regulated professional service.
3.2 Not a Regulated Financial Service
The Operator is NOT a licensed investment advisor, investment firm, broker-dealer, financial planner, portfolio manager, bank, or any other regulated financial entity under EU law, Slovak law, or the laws of any other jurisdiction. The Operator does not hold any license or registration from the Národná banka Slovenska (NBS), ESMA, or any other financial regulatory authority.
3.3 Your Responsibility
All investment decisions are made exclusively by you, at your sole discretion and risk. Before making any investment decision, you should:
- ✓Conduct your own independent research and due diligence.
- ✓Consult with a licensed, qualified financial advisor familiar with your individual circumstances, goals, and risk tolerance.
- ✓Consult with a tax advisor regarding tax implications in your jurisdiction.
- ✓Carefully consider whether any investment is suitable for you.
3.4 Past Performance
Historical data, past performance information, backtested results, simulated scenarios, or projected returns do not guarantee, predict, or imply future results. Financial markets involve substantial risk, including the possible loss of the entire principal amount invested.
3.5 Analyst Ratings and Price Targets
Analyst ratings, price targets, fair value estimates, and similar data displayed on the Platform are aggregated from third-party sources and represent the opinions of those third-party analysts, not of the Operator. Such data must not be interpreted as an endorsement or recommendation by Edge Trader Terminal.
Data Accuracy Disclaimer
4.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy
While we make reasonable efforts to display accurate information, the Platform may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, outdated data, or technical inconsistencies. We do not represent, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or fitness for purpose of any data, content, or information displayed on the Platform.
4.2 Data Delays
Financial data — including stock prices, cryptocurrency prices, macroeconomic data, and earnings data — may be delayed by 15 minutes or more, or may represent end-of-day data rather than real-time data. The Platform is not designed for real-time trading execution and must not be used as the sole source for time-sensitive trading decisions.
4.3 Third-Party Data
A significant portion of data is sourced from third-party providers. We have no control over the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of third-party data and disclaim all liability for any errors originating from these sources.
4.4 User Verification
We strongly encourage you to verify any data independently before relying on it, including by consulting official company filings, regulatory databases, or licensed data providers. Any decision made on the basis of Platform data is made entirely at your own risk.
User Accounts & Registration
5.1 Account Creation
Access to certain features requires registration. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You may register using a valid email address and password or via Google OAuth authentication.
5.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You agree to:
- ✓Choose a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.
- ✓Not share your account credentials with any third party.
- ✓Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
- ✓Log out of your account at the end of each session on shared devices.
5.3 One Account Per Person
Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse free-trial periods is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.
5.4 Accurate Information
You represent and warrant that all information you provide is truthful and accurate. The use of false identities, impersonation, or provision of misleading information is strictly prohibited.
Subscription Plans & Payments
6.1 Plan Tiers
The Platform offers a Free Plan and a Premium Plan. We reserve the right to modify features included in any plan at any time, with reasonable prior notice.
6.2 Billing
Premium subscriptions are billed periodically (monthly or annually). Fees are charged in advance at the beginning of each billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
6.3 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to change Subscription Fees. We will provide at least thirty (30) days' advance notice via email before any price increase takes effect.
6.4 Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through account settings or by contacting us. Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the account reverts to the Free Plan. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
6.5 Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract for the supply of digital content and digital services within fourteen (14) days of concluding the contract, without giving a reason, under Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection and Directive (EU) 2019/770. To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to edgetraderterminal@proton.me (you may use the model withdrawal form in § 6.7). We will refund all payments received within fourteen (14) days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method.
6.6 Express Consent to Immediate Performance
Because access to Premium content and features is granted immediately after payment, you expressly request that performance begins before the withdrawal period expires and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully supplied. If performance has only partially been provided, you pay a proportionate amount for the part supplied. You confirm this consent in the checkout process; where this consent was not obtained, your full 14-day right of withdrawal remains unaffected.
6.7 Model Withdrawal Form

6.8 Taxes
The Operator is not a VAT payer. Prices are stated as final amounts payable; where a payment processor or Patreon charges additional local taxes or fees, you are responsible for those in your jurisdiction.
Disclaimer of Warranties
WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING:
(a) IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY — no warranty that the Platform is of satisfactory quality;(b) IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE — no warranty that the Platform meets your specific needs;(c) WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS — no warranty that any data is accurate, complete, current, or error-free;(d) WARRANTIES OF UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY — no warranty of uptime, freedom from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities;(e) WARRANTIES REGARDING THIRD-PARTY DATA — no warranty regarding data supplied by third-party providers.
Use of the Platform is at your sole risk. We make no representation that the Platform is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, PARTNERS, OR DATA PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:— INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES;— LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL;— INVESTMENT LOSSES OR TRADING LOSSES OF ANY KIND;— LOSS ARISING FROM INACCURATE, DELAYED, OR INCOMPLETE DATA;— LOSS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON ANY CONTENT, TOOL, MODEL, OR INDICATOR;— LOSS ARISING FROM INTERRUPTION OR TERMINATION OF THE PLATFORM;
EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(a) THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR(b) TWENTY EUROS (€20).
IF YOU ARE A FREE PLAN USER, OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO YOU IS ZERO (€0).
8.3 Investment and Trading Losses
We explicitly disclaim all liability for any investment losses, trading losses, missed investment opportunities, or any financial harm resulting from your use of or reliance on the Platform. Investing involves substantial risk. You may lose some or all of your invested capital.
8.4 Mandatory Law Exceptions
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, liability for fraud, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- —Your violation of these Terms of Service or any applicable law or regulation.
- —Your User Content, including any claim that it infringes the rights of any third party.
- —Your use of or reliance on Platform data for investment or trading purposes.
- —Any fraud, misrepresentation, or wilful misconduct by you.
- —Your access to or use of the Platform in violation of applicable securities laws or financial regulations.
Acceptable Use Policy
10.1 Permitted Uses
You may use the Platform solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial, informational and educational purposes, subject to these Terms.
10.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following:
- ✕Circumventing or interfering with security features or access controls of the Platform.
- ✕Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to extract or republish data without our prior written consent.
- ✕Attempting unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, server, or database.
- ✕Selling, reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing any data or content to third parties.
- ✕Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including market manipulation, insider trading, securities fraud, or money laundering.
- ✕Uploading viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
- ✕Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating your affiliation.
- ✕Posting false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or harmful User Content.
- ✕Systematically downloading or storing Platform data in bulk (data harvesting).
- ✕Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions.
Intellectual Property
11.1 Our Property
All intellectual property rights in and to the Platform — including design, architecture, source code, user interface, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all original content — are owned by or licensed to the Operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Platform or its Content.
11.2 Limited License to You
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial, informational purposes only. This license does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any Content.
11.3 Your User Content
You retain ownership of any User Content you submit. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
11.4 Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit may be used by us without restriction and without any obligation of compensation or attribution.
Third-Party Services & Data Providers
12.1 Third-Party Integrations
The Platform integrates with third-party services including: Financial Modeling Prep (FMP), CoinGecko, Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED), TradingView charting widgets, Logo.dev, Stripe (payments), Google (authentication), and Supabase (database). Use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
12.2 No Endorsement
Reference to third-party providers, their data, or any financial instruments on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or affiliation.
12.3 Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over and accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of any third-party website.
12.4 TradingView Disclosure
Interactive charts are powered by TradingView widgets. TradingView® is a registered trademark of TradingView, Inc. Edge Trader Terminal has no affiliation with and is not endorsed by TradingView, Inc.
12.5 Third-Party Data Accuracy
We are not responsible for errors, omissions, delays, or inaccuracies in data supplied by third-party providers. We accept no liability for any decisions made in reliance on third-party data displayed on the Platform.
Community Content & User-Generated Content
13.1 Community Trade Setups
All content shared by users — including trade setups, analysis, and comments — represents solely the personal opinion of the individual user and does NOT constitute investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument.
13.2 No Verification
We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any User Content. Users are solely responsible for their own User Content. You must conduct your own independent research before relying on any User Content.
13.3 Content Standards
By posting User Content, you agree that it shall not:
- ✕Constitute or contain investment advice or personalized investment recommendations.
- ✕Be false, misleading, deceptive, or likely to manipulate financial markets.
- ✕Violate any applicable law, including securities laws or insider trading prohibitions.
- ✕Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
- ✕Be defamatory, offensive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- ✕Contain spam or unsolicited commercial communications.
13.4 Content Removal
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason. Removal of User Content does not constitute any admission of liability.
13.5 Leaderboard and Statistics
Leaderboard rankings, win rates, and performance metrics are based on self-reported or simulated data and do not represent verified real-money trading performance. Past leaderboard performance does not indicate future results.
Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)
14.1 Privacy Policy
Our collection, use, storage, and processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
14.2 GDPR Compliance
For users in the European Economic Area (including the Slovak Republic), we process your personal data in accordance with GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Lawful bases for processing include:
- ✓Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Services to you.
- ✓Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and platform improvement.
- ✓Consent — where you have given explicit consent for specific activities including marketing.
- ✓Legal obligation — processing required by applicable law.
14.3 Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data; object to processing; withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov (Slovak Data Protection Authority) or another competent supervisory authority.
14.4 Cookie Consent
Non-essential cookies are only placed on your device with your prior consent, as managed through our cookie consent mechanism. You may withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings or our cookie management interface.
14.5 Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and accept no liability for unauthorized third-party access beyond our reasonable control.
Termination & Suspension
15.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
15.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time, with or without prior notice, including for:
- —Breach of any provision of these Terms.
- —Failure to pay applicable Subscription Fees.
- —Conduct that may harm other users, the Platform, or third parties.
- —Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
- —Regulatory requirements or legal obligations.
- —Cessation of the Platform's operation for any business reason.
15.3 Survival
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 17.
15.4 Platform Discontinuation
We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or shut down the Platform at any time. In the event of discontinuation of paid services, we will endeavor to provide reasonable advance notice and, where applicable, pro-rated refunds for prepaid subscription periods.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- ✓Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
- ✓Notify registered users via email or in-platform notification of significant changes.
- ✓Where required by applicable law, seek your consent before applying material changes.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your binding acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and cancel your subscription.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
17.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Where mandatory EU consumer protection laws provide greater protections, those protections shall apply.
17.2 Jurisdiction
You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic for the resolution of any dispute. EU-based consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence.
17.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
If you are not satisfied with the way we handled your complaint, you may — as a consumer — submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to the Slovak Trade Inspection: Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, Inšpektorát SOI pre Košický kraj, Hlavná 108, 040 01 Košice, Slovak Republic, e-mail: ke@soi.sk, web: www.soi.sk (section Alternatívne riešenie sporov). A list of authorised ADR entities is kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. The EU ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
17.4 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will endeavor to respond to all good-faith complaints within thirty (30) days.
17.5 Severability
If any provision is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17.6 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
